Malida celebration

Ambassador Sanjeev Singla and the Indian Jews in Israel warmly celebrated the first time that Malida, a Bene Israeli tradition from India has been incorporated in the official calendar of Israel for the first time in 2020 on the same day as Tu Bishvat. The celebration was organised at the Bible Lands Museum and led by the New Generation of Indian Jews in Israel with the support of the Embassy of India and the Indian Jewish Heritage Centre. 10 February 2020
