The Embassy of India and Incredible India Tourism office organised an India Tourism Seminar on 14 February 2019. Ambassador HE Pavan Kapoor made the welcome remarks and conveyed the immense tourism potential India has for the Israeli traveller: beyond backpacking to luxury tourism, family tours, medical tourism and shopping. Air India flights between Tel Aviv and Delhi which started in March 2018 has increased number of passengers both ways, in addition to El Al flights and the recently announced Arkia flights to Goa and Cochin. The Ambassador of India selected the winning Air India lottery which went to a tour operator for a round trip to Delhi. The seminar included presentations on Kerala, South India, North East India, Luxury Tourism and Wellness Tourism. The seminar was well attended by tour operators and media. 14 February 2019
